Incoming email settings link not appearing

Incoming e-mail is a feature which allows users to e-mail an address and have the content of that e-mail appear in a document library, discussion board, or any other list supported under SharePoint. While enabling the incoming email settings in our MOSS farm, we came across a strange problem. We installed SMTP on one of the servers in the farm.
